The actress has more than enough upcoming projects on her plate for 2014 and
beyond to keep her fans happy.
With an Oscar and another hit movie under her belt for the year 2013, the
future could not look brighter for Jennifer
Lawrence. But don't worry too much about missing the actress until the next
"Hunger
Games." After you see her in this weekend's "Catching Fire," there will be
plenty of opportunities to see Lawrence during the rest of 2013 and into
2014.
We've put together a quick rundown of Jennifer Lawrence's upcoming project,
just so you know when you'll be able to see her next.
"American Hustle"
Who: Christian Bale, Bradley
Cooper and Amy Adams co-star. Directed by Daniel O. Russell ("Silver Linings
Playbook")
What: Reteaming with some of the folks that helped her get
her Oscar, Lawrence plays the unhappy wife of a con artist, who goes into
business with an FBI agent.
When: December 18, 2013
"X-Men: Days of Future Past"
Who: Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen
What: Lawrence goes blue once again to play the mutant shapeshifter, Mystique, in this sequel to the superhero prequel, "X-Men: First Class."
When: May 23, 2014
"Dumb and Dumber To"
Who: Jim Carrey, Jeff Daniels and Kathleen Turner
What: This role will only amount to a cameo, but one we can't wait to see. Lawrence is playing the younger version of Turner's character.
When: November 14, 2014
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Parts 1 &2"
Who: Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Liam Hemsworth, and Elizabeth Banks
What: The final two films of the "Hunger Games" series is what Lawrence films next, bringing the story of Katniss Everdeen to a close.
When: November 21, 2014 and November 20, 2015
"Glass Castle"
Who: Director Destin Cretton ("Short Term 12")
What: The adaptation of Jeannette Walls' memoir will be Lawrence's first producer credit. It tells the story of a dysfunctional, nomadic family that tries to cope with their extreme poverty through the children's imagination.
When: No date has been set.
"Burial Rites" and "East of Eden"
Who: Director Gary Ross
What: Lawrence will reteam with her "Hunger Games" director for two upcoming projects: a two-part adaptation of the John Steinbeck novel and a film version of Hannah Kent's book about a female murderer in 1829 Iceland.
When: No date has been set for either.
