Katniss fever is once again catching fire on the Internet.
Lionsgate has released the first official images from “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” the second part of the dystopian film franchise based on the books by Suzanne Collins.
Front and center once again is Golden Globe winner Jennifer Lawrence, who is reprising her role as Katniss Everdeen, the heroine behind "The Hunger Games," which earned $700 million at the box office worldwide last year.
“Catching Fire” picks up after Katniss' victory in the televised games that pit children against children to the death. The unlikely 16-year-old heroine now faces both the wrath of President Snow (Donald Sutherland) and a choice between the affections of her life-long friend Gale (Liam Hemsworth) and fellow Hunger Games survivor Peeta (Josh Hutcherson).

While fans bitterly divided into Team Peeta and Team Gale camps, each have an image of their favorite point in the series’ love triangle, the biggest reveal is an image showing Sam Claflin’s Finnick Odair, a fan favorite from the book.
The hulking tribute can be seen leaning and whispering into Katniss’ ear in the most buzzed-about still.
Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks and Lenny Kravitz also reprise their roles from "The Hunger Games" in the sequel. There are new faces, however, added to the cast — including Claflin, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Amanda Plummer and Jena Malone.
